How much time a international cheque takes to be converted in Indian Currency.
Recently (Two months ago) i have received a payment of $300 from Amazon affiliate network.I had deposited the same in the bank within 2 days after the day of receipt.But still my latest bank statement is not showing the funds.I want to know how much time it takes an indian bank to transfer a foreign check.
Is it true that they are sent to the country concerned for realization of proceeds.
After reading a dp thread and a website (mentioning both of them in source) i came to conclusion that it may take some time of around 2 months depending on practise followed by the banking authorities.For those who want to learn about the measure follow the links below.
