Should i add more stocks to my portfolio ?

Many people think that by adding more stocks to their portfolio they can take a upper hand and earn well money from it.But in reality it is not so.

When one follows a particular stock index say bse 50 or any other and invest in most of them then he/she will be operating with minimal or no profit at all.For simple understanding many people think it as a risk diversifying technique but if you include more than a limited amount of scrips in your portfolio it began to give you negative results.
